What We Do
Look for donation boxes in Las Vegas casinos with participating restaurants
and businesses to donate your change vouchers, chips, or monetary items.
Families across the Vegas Valley feel the effects of rising prices and have to make hard decisions on spending cuts. One area that parents should not have to compromise on is their child's academic and extracurricular activities. Through our charitable initiatives, we aim to remove the financial burden that often prevents children from participating in sports and extracurricular activities, enabling them to build essential life skills, self-confidence, and a strong sense of community. By providing financial aid to parents and teachers for all school related items such as equipment, uniforms, transportation, school supplies, and other essentials, we can transform Las Vegas into a healthier and more vibrant community.
Additionally, we will be donating directly to individuals by filling up gas tanks and buying groceries. As we grow, we plan on donating to other local charities that are already in place that share our vision.
TITOs or “ticket in, ticket out” are commonplace at casinos. You may get them when you hit the “Cash Out” button on a slot machine or at a bill breaker machine. Most of these machines will give you your dollar amount in bills, but the change is in the form of a “CASH VOUCHER.” In most instances, you are able to bring the printed voucher to the Casino Cashier to collect your change, but the majority of the time, they are left on top of slot machines, on the ground, in the trash, left in hotel rooms, or just brought home and left to sit. These vouchers expire in about 180 days, and the casino has to keep track of the amount until they are unclaimed and expired. The casino receives roughly 25% of this, whereas the state takes the remaining 75%. We believe that the majority of that should go back into our community. People come from around the world to visit our city, and when they donate their change, it should go directly to Las Vegas and the surrounding community. The state can’t help everyone, and neither can we, but our goal is to help as many individuals, local charities, and schools as possible in Las Vegas since that is where the donations are being made and should stay.
We collect and log all amounts collected for each separate location. After totals are tallied and the appropriate amounts are distributed to our partners, we use all available funds to directly help the local community. The totals can be found on our “Partners” tab. The charities may differ based on the collection site, as they will be pre-approved by that particular partnership. Our goal is to reach as many locals in need as possible. We will consistently donate directly by filling up locals gas tanks and buying groceries. We will also be donating additionally to other local charities that are already in place, help all local schools, shelters, and agencies.
